Glorious

10/2 was an incredible sunny day at peak foliage. And a Saturday! So I was able to take full advantage and hit Groton state park. Kayak a few hours on Peacham Pond. Loved the way this leaf just under the surface was catching the sun. The loons were gathering for their trip south, losing their mating season vivid colors. The trees glowing, the very air thrumming with excitement at the season of change.

A day my soul very much needed and for which I am deeply grateful.
